After ten years, fate brings Cameron face-to-face with Adrianna, the woman he never forgot, and the little girl that ties them forever.

“Can I ask you something?” Faith choked out, pushing away the fear of her dream and letting her body’s natural attraction to Greg build inside to calm and soothe her.
“You can ask,” he coyly replied stepping closer to the bed.
She hadn’t meant to just…leave ten years ago. But guilt and confusion had hijacked her better senses. “Are you still mad at me?”
“No, Faith.” His voice was hard even though the response should have made her feel better.
It didn’t. “Good.” She nodded to cover up the sting in her heart.
His blunt answer hurt more than if it were a yes. That would have meant perhaps there were still feelings lingering close to the surface. No, meant he was over it. Over her. And Greg Mallory was too much of a man to wallow.
“Do you want me to go downstairs?” he asked gruffly.
“No.” She hoped her direct answer had the same effect on him. And the way she was looking at him, biting her lower lip.
“Me neither.” He took several heavy steps until his knees fell hard on the mattress.
The attraction between her and Greg had always been off the charts. It had confirmed the faith she’d had for many years that their bodies were made for each other. Fantastic sex had always been the tagline to their story.
Greg came at her with an open mouth while she licked her lips waiting for him. At first contact, his tongue was hard and firm taking control. He sat up and yanked off his leather jacket revealing a soft blue sweater underneath. He fell back on top of her, his fingers tangled in bundles of her hair. “God, you feel so good.” He dragged his lips along her throat, skimming her collarbone. “I want to touch every inch of you.”
“Go ahead,” she whispered, heady with passion while her bare legs wrapped tightly around his waist. She quivered and ached for him. Greg. Not just anyone.
Greg’s lips returned to her mouth. He kissed her holding her face and fisting her hair. The delicious spicy scent of him sent pools of heat straight to her core. Against his lips, she whined with pleasure.
When he sat back and fumbled with his jeans, she climbed forward. Her greedy hands mixed with his to get his pants off. She had to have him. Now! The zipper was part way down and Faith lifted her head to toss a mess of hair out of the way. Doing so caused her to focus on the two suitcases sitting in the corner of her bedroom. The reminder that she was moving to London made her feel like she’d been slapped. Upon receiving the call to take over the bureau, she would be required to leave immediately.
Faith was going to leave. Again.

Cover Reveal: Wishing For A Star by Ana Balen

Title: Wishing For A Star
Author: Ana Balen
Genre: Contemporary Romance

It’s supposed to go like this. Boy meets girl, they fall madly in love with each other, battle some shit in their way, and after conquering the challenge, they ride off to their happily ever after.
But, not one fairytale, or love story tells you that after that ride, life happens. We had our story, and we were supposed to live happily in our bubble forever. After one check-up, our bubble burst and reality started to invade. And now, facing the unsure road of IVF treatment, we have to be stronger than ever. Once again, we must go into battle for our happily ever after. Taking that first step was easy. Staying on this road is harder than we thought.
And now, with unexpected obstacles in the way, it’s not a question of if the IVF will succeed. It’s will we be strong enough to stay together and reach for the stars?

Ana Balen was born in Zagreb, Croatia, where she still lives with her husband, their son (read boss!) and the son’s pet rabbit named Shhh! (or some other gibberish that’s the favorite of their son for the day.)
She spends her days driving her husband up the wall (when he can’t get her ass up from the bed in the mornings), reading and daydreaming, or following orders from a two-year old. In the hectic life she leads (and loves every second of it), she never thought about writing. But, then one day a name popped in her head, then, the snippets of things, and she sat down and started typing. Next thing, she wrote a book. And now, she’s trying to write another one 😉

Stuck by Logan Chance review!

Synopsis from Goodreads

It’s not everyday you have the number one box office star in your car. Actually, not any day for someone like me, Nova Sparks, a plain Jane hair stylist.

And the real kick in the rear end? Not only will he be in my car, in a few weeks, he’ll be in my life— as my stepbrother.

Fate has brought Ethan Hale into my small Montana world and kept him unattainable. How’s that for cruel?

Now I’m stuck being near him. Stuck with the tabloids and paparazzi. Stuck with these feelings I shouldn’t be having.

The only way to get unstuck is accept I can’t have him and send him back to Hollywood.

The only problem? He may have other plans.

My thoughts 💭

Ethan travels to Pity Falls, Montana to meet his dad’s fiancé and his future step sister, Nova. Ethan decides he needs to “test” Nova to see if he can trust her and he’s a complete jerk towards her. At first I didn’t like him but you kind of understood why he’d be hesitant to trust that his new family isn’t out for money or a story. Once he stopped being a jerk…Nova and Ethan’s chemistry is off the charts! I enjoyed their banter and how they tried to fight their attraction but couldn’t stay away from each other in the end. This story may be too taboo for some since they do end up being step-brother & sister but it was an enjoyable read.

My thoughts 💭

This is my first book by the author and I loved it! Reagan and Gunner fell in love when they were younger then Gunner ended up leaving town after a misunderstanding. So 8 years later he comes back to town and finds out things may not have been how he thought them to be when he left. This was a great book it has love that doesn’t fade, some angst, drama, crazy family members and the most understanding breakup ever lol!

Annnnddd you can’t convince me Gunner doesn’t have super swimmers 😂😂

Love & Justice Series by Erica Lynn review!

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Lexie Hayes knows her marriage is over. After working endlessly to fix things, she’s decided to move on and find happiness elsewhere. The last thing she needs is to run into her sexy-as-hell brother-in-law at a nightclub on her birthday. He’s smug, arrogant, and so damn kissable she can barely hold on to her sanity.

Jonathon Hayes has always wanted his sister-in-law. She’s gorgeous, feisty, and unbeknownst to her, married to the largest drug supplier in the Houston and San Antonio areas. When fate puts them side by side, lust and tensions run high. He wants her and he knows she wants him.

Can he keep his feelings on a shelf long enough to keep her safe while he dethrones his drug lord brother, or will temptation overwhelm good sense and put them both on a path to destruction?

My thoughts 💭Lexie and Jonathon are hot! Their chemistry is off the charts. They’ve always shared an intense connection but she was married to his brother Dean. Jonathon saves Lexie from a bad situation and when he takes her home and they have their wicked way with one another! Jonathon is keeping secrets and Lexie is sooo sweet! This story is action packed with some dirty talking and I loved it!

Synopsis from Goodreads:

When Lynette Montgomery’s older sister dies from breast cancer, she quickly steps in to take care of her two young nephews. The boys are sweet, caring, and Lynette has no idea what she’s doing. Terrified of failing her sister, she does everything she can to present herself as the parental figure she feels the boys need, even swearing off the sexy-as-can-be cop she just so happened to have a one-night stand with outside of her best friend’s house.

Robert Barletta is a decorated and respected cop with the San Antonio PD. After having just played a key role in bringing down Houston and San Antonio’s largest drug operation, he should be on top of the world. Unfortunately for him, he can’t get that one night with a smoking hot blonde temptress out of his head.

When he’s forced to take some time off, and the two come face to face, will they be able to keep their attraction on the back burner? Or has this game of cat and mouse just started?

My thoughts 💭I’m loving this series so far! Lynette is dealing with adjusting to life without her sister and taking care of her nephews and Robert is more than willing to help her. These two were so cute and the steamy scenes were 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Rosie Hobbs is in trouble. Big trouble. The kind of trouble that has her scared to leave her apartment. When she first met Aaron he was a fun guy who liked to have a good time. Just the kind of man she prefers. But when he wants more, and she tells him she’s not interested, he loses it. Continuous phone calls, showing up where she’s at, vandalizing her property… She finds herself turning to an unexpected protector, her best friend’s ridiculously sexy brother.

Conner Montgomery is a lawyer and he deals with this type of BS every day. However, something about Rosie has him crossing the professional line. Is it her gorgeous smile? Her charm? Or the fact that he can’t even look at her without imagining her body wrapped around his? Whatever the case, when Aaron shows up at a get-together and scares Rosie half to death, Conner’s determined to make sure he can’t get anywhere near her again.

When the stakes get higher, and the threats more real, will Conner be able to keep Rosie protected, or will their soaring passion cloud their judgment?

My thoughts 💭Another great quick read with a stalker! Rosie and Conner move in together because Rosie’s fling doesn’t want to accept its over and keeps showing up at her apartment. Rosie and Conner have an instant connection from the moment they meet. Rosie is normally in control of everything but she doesn’t mind when Conner takes over in the bedroom!

Swallow Me Whole by Gemma James review!

Synopsis from Goodreads

Sadie Sawyer wants to learn how to blow a guy. She’s my sister’s best friend. The girl I’ve known since grade school. The girl I’ve always considered off-limits. She’s the girl that crawled under a table in a bar one night and changed everything between us.

Now the brain in my pants is more than willing to step up. The rules are simple.

No kissing.

No screwing.

No falling in love.

But the more I let her use my body in the name of experimentation, the more I know being friends isn’t enough. Is it too much to want it all with her?

The taste of her lips.

The sweetness of her innocence.

The chance to earn her love.

I might have a real shot with her…if her douchebag ex and my past don’t ruin everything.

Swallow Me Whole is a friends-to-lovers standalone romance. Full-length at 77,000 words.

My thoughts 💭I loved this friends to lovers romance! Sadie and Ashton are sooo adorable. They’ve had feelings for each other since forever but have never acted on it. Ashton is a dominant male who has slept with half the town but is a good friend. Sadie found out her ex is a cheating jerk and changed her friendship with Ashton when she crawled under the table in a bar one night. Ash and Sadie agree on having a no strings attached relationship with no kissing, sex or falling in love….but end up falling for each other along the way! I loved it! I can’t wait to read more by Gemma!

SYNOPSIS

They met under summer showers …

Vera Markovic only wanted a vacation away from New York where everyone knows her as a Russian Mafiya printsessa of the Markovic Bratva. She didn’t expect to find something worth remembering. And definitely not a man like Alfie Shelby.

They fell in love when the leaves changed colors …

As New York City’s notorious fixer, Alfie Shelby always gets what he wants—and when he sets his eyes on Vera, he’ll do anything to keep her … even if she’s not sure she wants to be kept.

And they nearly lost it all when the snow started to fall …

She wants nothing to do with a gangster.
A life of crime is all he knows.
But neither can deny what they have, even when forces beyond their control try to keep them apart.

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT

Venturing down the hallway until she found the vacant office he had stepped out of, Vera walked inside and whirled around to lay into him, but the door had barely closed behind him before he was crossing the room to her, tugging her forward into his embrace by the nape of her neck and slanted his mouth over hers.

A moment of resistance was all she could manage before she was kissing him back, forgetting all about the reasons why she shouldn’t.

How could she not kiss him? How could she not get swept up in the intoxicating promise his lips offered?

No one had ever kissed her the way Alfie did—as if he were starving and her mouth was the only thing that would satisfy him.

He made her forget just that easily why she had brought him back here at all, but reality settled back in quickly when something crashed outside the room door, making her jolt and push him away, trying to get her bearings.

“Can’t say I didn’t miss that, love,” he said with a smile that made her heart race.

It was just so blatantly arrogant.

But as easy as it was to get lost in him, she wasn’t going to bend that easily. “You could have said this was your restaurant.”

He made a low noise in the back of his throat, his expression growing serious. “Would you have come if I did?”

Maybe. “Why wouldn’t I?”

He shrugged, resting both hands on top of the cane she was only just now noticing he held. “You’re here now, and that’s what I wanted.”

“I can’t work for you,” she said quickly, remembering why they were both here.

“Why not?”

“I don’t take on clients I’ve slept with.”

It muddied the waters.

Vera had always been very careful to keep a distinct line between her business life and her personal one—and not just because of her family’s connections.

“That should make it easier, shouldn’t it?” Alfie asked. “You, more than anyone, know what I like.”

He would not make her blush. “That has nothing to do with this.”

“What’s so different?”

“Alfie—”

Before she could get another word out, he was kissing her again. His tongue stroking over hers, his gloved hands tangled in her hair. And for a moment—one sweet, electrifying moment—she got swept up in it with him, kissing him back for all she was worth, clutching his shirt to keep him exactly where he was.

This time, it was Alfie that stopped the kiss. “I’ve missed that fucking mouth of yours, Vera. I have.”

He was far too addictive. “Why didn’t you tell me you lived here?”

“It wasn’t important.”

“Yet, you’re here now hiring me for what?”

“Now it’s important.”

He was impossible. “You asked me here, Alfie, what do you want?”

“Beyond getting this place ready for the soft opening in a couple months?” Alfie asked with a cock of his brow. “I thought we could pick up where we left off.”

“Alfie …”

“Oh, don’t say it wasn’t good between us,” he said with a tit of his head.

No, she couldn’t say that at all. She couldn’t even bring herself to entertain the thought. Even if they had only spent less than three days in each other’s presence, it had still been the most amazing three days of her life.

“That’s not the point.”

“No? Enlighten me.”

“I can’t work for you and sleep with you.”

His expression changed so quickly, she almost laughed. “Why the hell not?”

“Because I don’t mix business and pleasure. So, if you want me to work for you, then that’s all it’s going to be. Work.”

He looked as if the last thing he wanted was to agree, but eventually he said, “Fine.”

“Glad we understand each other.”

Alfie leaned in close to her, resting one hand on each side of her hips. “But after … you’re mine.”

“You’re awfully confident.”

“As if I don’t have a reason to be, but don’t worry,” he said, tracing the pad of his thumb over her bottom lip. “I’ll keep my hands to myself … unless you ask for it.”

“Not going to happen.” Again.

“Come now, love. Let’s not say things we don’t mean.”

Arrogant and infuriating. Of course the first man that had interested her in years had to be a combination of the two. “If we’re going to do this—”

“We are,” he said cutting her off.

If we are, then there needs to be some sort of ground rules.”

His smile was placating. “Right, let’s hear them.”

“No kissing me.”

“Unless you ask.”

“Alfie …”

“You have a lovely mouth, Vera. What kind of man would I be to deny myself?”

Moving on. “And no attempting to seduce me.”

He scoffed. “During working hours.”

Vera threw her hands up, realizing that there was no way she would win in this argument against him. “What’s the point of the rules if you’re just going to ignore them.”

“I hear you quite fine, love. Quite fine. I’m even willing to play this little game of yours because I know how it’ll end.”

She knew better than to ask—knew even that whatever he was going to say, she wasn’t going to like—but she couldn’t help herself. “How’s that?”

“In my bed.”

“I wouldn’t count on it.”

“Have you thought about it?” he asked out of the blue, catching her off guard.

“Thought about what?”

Punta de Mita.”

Her cheeks bloomed with heat as she thought of that last night they shared together. “Sparingly.”

His smile said he didn’t believe her. “I think about it often because once wasn’t nearly enough.”

“We’re going to keep this professional, Alfie. That’s the only way this can work.”

“And when you beg for it, know that I’m going to give you exactly what your eyes are asking for right now.”

The smart decision would have been to end it there, to just tell him she couldn’t work for him and walk away. She didn’t believe, mostly, that he would try to stop her, but the rational side of her seemed to turn off where Alfie was concerned.

So instead of walking away, she knew she would take the job.

Consequences be damned.

Blog Tour: Baby, I’m Home by Tami Lund!

Title: Baby I’m Home
Author: Tami Lund
Genre: Interracial Romance

Chad Wessex and his girlfriend, Jenna Mackery, got into a huge fight the day he left and flew halfway around the world to take care of his dying grandfather. Eight months later, he’s back and ready to make up.

When she said she had a “big surprise” for him, the last thing he expected was…a baby!

This was just an okay quick read for me. It’s like everything was awkward. Chad goes to Scotland since his grandfather is terminally ill and comes back 8 months later to find out his girlfriend is pregnant. Jenna found out she was pregnant while her boyfriend was in Scotland and didn’t tell him so he wouldn’t miss out on his grandfathers last days or funeral. They kind of argued a lot about her being a workaholic and him not committing to anything. It got old fast. They had make up sex. Decided to open a business together and lived happily ever after🤷🏾‍♀️
