Nineteen-year-old Cromwell Dean is the rising star of electronic dance music. Thousands of people adore him. But no one knows him. No one sees the color of his heart.
Until the girl in the purple dress. She sees through the walls he has built to the empty darkness within.
When Cromwell leaves behind the gray skies of England to study music in the South Carolina heat, the last thing he expects is to see her again. And he certainly doesn’t expect that she’ll stay in his head like a song on repeat.
Bonnie Farraday lives for music. She lets every note into her heart, and she doesn’t understand how someone as talented as Cromwell can avoid doing the same. He’s hiding from his past, and she knows it. She tries to stay away from him, but something keeps calling her back.
Bonnie is the burst of color in Cromwell’s darkness. He’s the beat that makes her heart skip.
But when a shadow falls over Bonnie, it’s up to Cromwell to be her light, in the only way he knows how. He must help her find the lost song in her fragile heart. He must keep her strong with a symphony only he can compose.
A symphony of hope.
A symphony of love.
A symphony of them.

Bane, the highly-anticipated next standalone in the Sinners of Saint Series by L.J. Shen is coming May 10th! Bane
Naked surfer. Habitual pothead. A con, a liar, a thief and a fraud.
Last I heard, he was extorting the rich and screwing their wives for a living.
Which is why I’m more than a little surprised to find him at my threshold, looking for my friendship, my services, and most puzzling of all—looking humbled.
Thing is, I’m on a boycott. Literally—I cut boys from my life. Permanently.
Problem is, Bane is not a boy, he is all man, and I’m falling, crashing, drowning in his sweet, perfect lies.
Jesse Carter
Hot as hell, cold as ice.
I wasn’t aware of her existence until a fat, juicy deal landed in my lap.
She’s a part of it, a little plaything to kill some time.
She is collateral, a means to an end, and a side-bonus for striking a deal with her oil tycoon stepdad.
More than anything, Jesse Carter is a tough nut to crack.
Little does she know, I have the f****** teeth for it.
L.J. Shen is an International #1 best-selling author of Contemporary Romance and New Adult novels. She lives in Northern California with her husband, young son and chubby cat.
Before she’d settled down, L.J. (who thinks referring to herself in the third person is really silly, by the way) traveled the world, and collected friends from all across the globe. Friends who’d be happy to report that she is a rubbish companion, always forgets peoples’ birthdays and never sends Christmas cards.
She enjoys the simple things in life, like spending time with her family and friends, reading, HBO, Netflix and internet-stalking Stephen James. She reads between three to five books a week and firmly believes Crocs shoes and mullets should be outlawed.

My thoughts:
This was my first book by Betty Shreffler and I really enjoyed it. There is a little inner drama going on in the M.C. that had me so interested I couldn’t stop reading. The relationship was sort of instant but I liked it. Dom and Erika are so cute. Dom is the VP of the Serpents M.C. and Erika is kind of naive but full of hope but she’s got moxie lol! I was glad to see they got their HEA!

Welcome to the Dark Side by Giana Darling
OMG this book was just awesome! I laughed, I cried & was in complete awe of Zeus & Lou Lou’s story. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop. Dirty talking Zeus just blew my mind 😩….this was one of the hottest younger woman and older man books I’ve ever read. I loved how Zeus always had Lou Lou’s back through her fight with cancer. Giana Darling has become one of my favorite authors!

Lessons in Corruptionby Giana Darling
So I read Daddy Zeus’ book first then I decided to come back and read King’s story and I’m so glad I did! The Garro men are freaking hot! King’s determination to woo and have Cress was so cute he just had a way with words. I hated that he didn’t tell her upfront he was her student and kind of just blindsided her but he apologized and wrote her lovely little poems! I hated Cress’s ex husband and her family they just wanted her to be a doll that did whatever they wanted. I loved how King being in her life led her to her being herself and his Queen ❤️ I love this series!

Sergio by Natasha Knight
Ok so this book hurt my feelings!Sergio felt like death was coming for him and was feeling like life is too short and that should’ve warned me that I was going to cry! Sergio saved Natalie when she was younger and they cross paths again with Nat being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sergio and Nat were so cute. Sergio didn’t want to condemn Natalie to the life he led but he couldn’t let her go. Even though I hated the ending it was still a good read.

Giving Her My Baby by Alexa Riley
Ella wants a baby and Brooks wants to give it to her. This was a fast paced insta love book, I really enjoyed this one. Brooks mom marries Ella’s con artist dad in Vegas so Brooks digs into the mans past and finds his daughter, Ella. Brooks convinces & pays Ella to be a live in nurse for when his pregnant sister come to live with him for a year. Brooks is instantly head over hills for Ella and is determined to get her pregnant the first night! I may have thought it was funny when it dawned on me that Ella was his stepsister for the moment 🤷🏾♀️😂😂😂
