This is after a detailed study of many potential candidates. The university’s acting dean behaves as a liaison for the society bringing the college applicants to the predecessors so that the selection may begin. The society members who are going out will bring forth a candidate that the society votes on and approves.

After they are chosen, the initiates are given a token and an invitation to initiation. The initiation will be a test to their character and ability to do what’s right for the betterment of the society. Once the initiates pass their test, they are discreetly branded with the mark of the society and are groomed through challenges during the course of their elite education to breed them into the influential people they were meant to be.

Once in The Elite Seven, there is no getting out. The money and power are their rewards. Should they choose to stray or break the rules, the society strips them of everything. Anything they once had will be removed. Opportunities will never arise. They will no longer have the support of the society. To this day, there have been no known occurrences of anyone from the society having to be banished. This elite group of people is what every young man and woman aspire to be a part of. Another interesting story by this amazing author. Be warned that if you’re looking for a nice romance this isn’t for you. But if you want a dark story with secrets and possible betrayal that have you wondering what is happening then you should definitely read this. The moment you feel like you’re going to finally get answers the book ends😂😂 I was so into it that I didn’t even realize it was the end. That’s how juicy it was getting! This was a wonderful start for a paranormal series, definitely a page turner. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

My Thoughts 💭

This was a cute story. Olivia is ready for college and to be with her men. But her men made her mom a promise that they intend to keep no matter how much Olivia tempts them. Zeke and Levi are twins and were totally devoted to Olivia and she to them! I liked how protective they were of each other. I can’t wait to read more of their story!

This trilogy is a must read for mafia romance lovers! It was everything! Renzo and Lucia’s are finally reunited and all the feels are still there. They both are still upset with everyone but I’m glad they were able to get past their hurt and mend fences to be one happy family that made me cry happy tears! Renzo makes everything seem so simple. They’re still just Renzo and Lucia no matter what. Ride or die! I definitely recommend this wonderfully written story!

This book was hot! August wants revenge but one look at Winter changes his plan. August is cold in the beginning due to betrayal but with Winter in his life he begins to let the past go and move on with his life. Winter was her own force to be reckoned with. The chemistry between them was amazing. The story was wonderfully written and I absolutely enjoyed reading it! I definitely recommend giving this a try!

Another amazing book by Fiona Murphy! Alicia was a sweetheart but don’t poke the bear she can be pretty fierce! Cesare was a workaholic, sometimes a hard a** but caring. I enjoyed the build up between Cesare and Alicia! Cesare and Alicia have lust at first sight but the more Cesare learns about his brother’s new employee the more he resists. And when he gives in he’s all in and there’s no going back! I definitely recommend this amazingly hot read!

Due to commitment issues I have lived in many different cities and my favorite is Chicago but I have managed to settle into Austin and perhaps my commitment issues are behind me. 

I have enjoyed reading from a very young age and it wasn’t long before the children books bored me and I read the books my mother enjoyed Stephen King and Dean Koontz and I didn’t sleep without the light on until I was about ten. 

I came across my first Harlequin by accident and it was love at first read, no one died and happy endings? It was a whole new world and I loved it. 

I wrote my first story at eight and everyone died, of course. Since then I would like to think I’ve gotten better and now I’m writing the happily ever afters I first fell in love with, with some hot sex thrown in along the way.

I’m really enjoying this series! I need the next book now! You get some questions answered and by the end you have more questions lol. Arion finally gets his turn! Arion is talking about remaining neutral which is frustrating. It makes you wonder what is going to happen when he’ll have to pick a side. How are we supposed to believe he’s falling for Violet when he says things like that? That just makes him look like he’s still in love with Idun.

I don’t like Marta…at all. She just seems manipulative and shady.
