Love sucks. So does commitment.
All I need is a hot guy and one night. I have everything else I could want and I am in control. Besides, love and commitment only lead to boring and expected, and where’s the adventure in that?
My next target is the gorgeous, elusive Sebastian Strong, CEO of the very company I work for. He’s powerful, wealthy, and always in control. All the women seem to fall at his feet, and into his bed, with no expectation of more than one night. This time, he’ll be chasing me. And I will be ready. Game on…
Sebastian
She thinks this is a game, so sure I’ll be her next fling. That she can seduce me without falling in love.
She thinks she’s the cat, hunting her prey.
Little does she know, I’ve been chasing her for years.
After learning all I can about the girl who haunts my dreams, I’m about to execute the most important plan of my life. To make Nina mine, and not just for one night. This is so much more than a challenge. This is love. And this is the rest of our lives.
She thinks she’s in control. She has no idea.
When I’m not writing, I’m trying to keep my hair, which is just as wild as my character, under control. My biggest problem in life is that my husband cannot keep his hands off of me. Oh, wait, that’s my dream, not my problem. My biggest goal in life is to make shopping an art, and it is a task that I’m more than happy to carry out. And I will succeed, if it’s the last thing I do!
As far as my books are concerned, I write the sexy books I would like to read myself. They are about the type of love that conquers everything and the tough men who make your panties melt.
Despite her dislike for him, even she couldn’t deny her curiosity.
Things were about to change drastically in Eve’s life, and secrets were about to spill out.
All at the hands of Kit Carson.

Synopsis
Shelby Walsh is struggling to make ends meet. She spends her days doing singing telegrams for extra cash, but she never expected to be sent out to perform for the world’s most famous composer. And definitely not in a skimpy Greek goddess outfit. How is she supposed to keep it together when every part of her is screaming for him to take her?
Theo Hayes is a recluse. He just wants to be left alone to work on his next big movie score. He’s even grumpier than usual because he’s in a bit of a rut. But when his brother sends him a singing telegram for inspiration, he finds his muse and plans to never let her go. Keeping her for his very own is the only option.
My Thoughts 💭
I enjoyed this quick read! Theo is having writers block and as soon as Shelby lands on his door step he’s able to hear the music again. I love these alpha men they write and how they refuse to let the woman they’ve fallen in love with out of their sight.

Spending three weeks on a bus with your boyfriend, his rock band, and their entire tour crew: possibly a bad idea.
Spending three weeks on a bus with your ex-boyfriend, his rock band, and their entire tour crew: definitely a bad idea.
But with the contract signed and the gigs all booked, Roxanne Nadeau finds herself heading out on the road as the accompanying violinist for reigning rock gods Sherbrooke Station, despite being on less than cordial terms with their bassist.
Not that the situation comes as a surprise. Roxanne and Cole’s near-constant on/off status has become a longstanding joke among their friends, and while the eight years of history between the two might suggest that resistance is futile, Roxanne’s determined to make this breakup their last.
Cole’s equally convinced he can use the opportunity to win her back for good.
Some conniving band-mates, way too many long drives, and the insanity of tour life all turn the bus into a pressure cooker that would detonate even the most stable of relationships. The explosion is inevitable; it’s how much of themselves they can salvage from the rubble that Roxanne and Cole will need to figure out.

Katia Rose is not much of a Pina Colada person, but she does like getting caught in the rain. She prefers her romance served steamy with a side of smart and is a sucker for quirky characters. A habit of jetting off to distant countries means she’s rarely in one place for very long, but she calls the frigid northland that is Canada home.

Only he doesn’t know it.
Now he’s back in my life. In need of a phony wife.
And I know I’m going to sin again…

We were supposed to be best friends
But turned out to be worst enemies…

They say revenge is a dish best served cold.
I’d had four years to stew on what Daria Followhill did to me, and now my heart is completely iced.
I took her first kiss.
She took the only thing I loved.
I was poor.
She was rich.
The good thing about circumstances? They can change. Fast.
Now, I’m her parents’ latest shiny project.
Her housemate. Her tormentor. The captain of the rival football team she hates so much.
Yeah, baby girl, say it—I’m your foster brother.
There’s a price to pay for ruining the only good thing in my life, and she’s about to shell out some serious tears.
Daria Followhill thinks she is THE queen. I’m about to prove to her that she’s nothing but a spoiled princess.

Everyone loves a good-old, unapologetic punk.
But being a bitch? Oh, you get slammed for every snarky comment, cynical eye roll, and foot you put in your adversaries’ way.
The thing about stiletto heels is that they make a hell of a dent when you walk all over the people who try to hurt you.
In Penn Scully’s case, I pierced his heart until he bled out, then left it in a trash can on a bright summer day.
Four years ago, he asked me to save all of my firsts for him.
Now he lives across the hall, and there’s nothing I want more than to be his last everything.
His parting words when he gave me his heart were that nothing in this world is free.
Now? Now he is making me pay.

“I don’t want you transferring into my school,” I hiss out. Melody would gladly file a transfer request, and Principal Prichard would salivate over the chance to snatch him up for our football team.
“That won’t be a problem. You guys suck so much ass, you have shit-breath.”
“Still smells better than poverty. You’re poor, right? Your sister was just bullshitting about being rich.”
When someone hits me with a stick, I run over them with a tank. I’m so mean to him I want to throw up. I hate this part of being me. The striking harder at all costs part.
“Just to make things clear.” I put the brush down, batting my lashes. “You’re not my step-sibling, foster brother, or a part of the family. You’re a stray dog. Last of the litter, most unlikely to be adopted, and a charity case.”
Penn takes a step toward me, and my heart is fighting its way out of my ribcage. The closer he gets, the more I realize that my heart might succeed. Penn’s eyes remind me of a snake’s. Mesmerizing, but inhuman altogether. They weren’t like that before.
His scent messes with my head. I want to reach out and caress his face. Kiss his wounds better. Beg for forgiveness. Curse him. Push him away. Cry on his shoulder for what we’ve done. For how it ended. For what we became afterwards, because I’m full of crap and he is totally empty.
We ruined ourselves the day of our first kiss.
Penn looks down at me. Time stops. It feels like the world is losing gravity, falling into a bottomless depth in space when he clasps my chin with his thumb and finger, lifting my head up. I can’t breathe. I’m not sure I want to, either. My towel drops to the floor with a thud, even though I secured it over my chest. I realize that he tugged at it intentionally. I’m naked. My body, my soul, my heart. All my walls are down. Somewhere in my head, a red alarm blasts and my inhibitions are getting armed, ready to fight back. I’m trying to decode his expression. He is amused, irritated, and…playful? The mixture of emotions doesn’t make any sense.
“Mess with me, Followhill, and I will ruin you.”
“Not if I ruin you first.”

Synopsis
She was the wood. He was the flame. After this, they would be ash.
A cruel twist of fate leaves Jasmine Hennessy stranded in a remote cabin with her worst nightmare—her ex-husband, James Roth, who she hasn’t seen in five years. He isn’t acting like the man she married, but did she ever really know him?
One night together kicks off a series of events that threatens her freedom as Roth seeks vengeance on those who ruined him seven years ago. He’s determined to bring her back into the world she left behind where money is king, reputation is everything, and people will kill to keep their secrets.
Author’s Note: This is a dark romance novel with triggers and mature themes that may make some readers uncomfortable.
My Thoughts 💭
This book literally sucks you in and refuses to release you until you get to the end and cry because you have to wait for the second book. I kind of hate Roth and want to know why he keeps hurting Jasmine! It’s like he has an obsession and must have her no matter what. I need more of this story!
