My Thoughts 💭

I loved this book! Morthanion is a demon who has been stripped of his powers and banished to a island for criminals. While getting familiar with his surroundings he hears the beautiful Aria sing and feels he must have her. Aria escapes him and tricks him and he’s totally obsessed. He realizes she’s his mate and her running around unclaimed makes him crazy. I loved how they were together. This book absolutely kept my interest! I definitely recommend this if you love a demon trying to be nice and very possessive of his mate.

What does a geeky math nerd know about writing romance?
That’s a darn good question. As a former techy I’ve done everything from computer programming to international trainer. Prior to college I had lots of different jobs and activities that were so diverse, I was an anomaly.
None of that qualifies me for writing novels. But I have some darn good stories to tell and a lot of imagination.
I have lived in Colorado, Hawaii and currently Washington. Going from two states with 340 days of sun to a state with 340 days of clouds, I had to do something to perk me up. And that’s when I started this new adventure called author. Joining the Romance Writers of America and two local chapters, helped me learn the craft quickly and has been a ton of fun.
My family consists of two grown children, their spouses, two adorable grand-daughters, and one grand dog. My favorite activity is playing with my grand-daughters!
When the girls can’t play with their amazing grand-mother, my interests are reading and writing, yay! I started reading at a young age with the Nancy Drew mysteries and have continued to be an avid reader my whole life. My favorite reading material is romance in most of the genres, but occasionally other stories creep into my to-be-read pile, I don’t kick them out.
Some of the strange jobs I have held are a carnation grower’s worker, a trap club puller, a pizza hut waitress, a software engineer, an international trainer, and a business program manager. I took welding, drafting and upholstery in high school, a long time ago when girls didn’t take those classes, so I have an eclectic bunch of knowledge and experience.
And for something really unusual… I once had a racoon as a pet.
Join with me as I tell my stories, weaving real tidbits from my life in with imaginary ones. You’ll have to guess which is which. It will be a hoot!

But…now I’m kind of curious what’s going to happen next.

I loved this book. Cade has a cute trespasser he doesn’t mind but likes to look out for. Katelyn is the clumsy but adorable trespasser who everyone loves! I loved their chemistry! I loved how close everyone was.

I push the
button to close off the front of the car to the back of the car so we can have
some privacy. “What’s wrong?” I ask.

My Thoughts 💭

I enjoyed this book. I liked the banter between Honey and Tidus. The book made me laugh and tear up! Tidus embraces his bad reputation and it seemed he didn’t care what people thought of him until he met Honey. Honey was a ray of sunshine that Tidus didn’t feel he deserved but wanted her anyway. Honey was like the only person who’d put up with Tidus’ foolishness because she didn’t experience his past wrongdoing, she only saw the man he was currently and it was cute! I loved them and their crazy family.

I enjoyed reading Michel and Gabbie’s story! They just wanted to be together no matter what was going on with their families and I loved it. Gabbie was a spitfire and I just adored her! Michel may not be a made man but he is just as cunning as they are and I was in awe of the chaos he was capable of. I definitely recommend this if you enjoy some forbidden love!

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing.
