Taking a step back from his once perfect life, Jesse makes a mistake that threatens to change his future forever.
Forced to deal with the dark secrets that now threaten his happiness, can Jesse decide where his heart truly lies? And will admitting his feelings destroy the only safe thing he has in his life: the girl who’s always had his back?

Quinn
Quinn Reynolds has her life together.
Sure, Jesse thinks she is against all forms of commitment, but Quinn knows the truth: she can’t commit to anyone as long as she still loves him.
When one mistake changes Jesse’s future forever, Quinn must decide whether she can love him through it or if she will have to finally move on.
And, when another woman with a surprising connection to Jesse comes into the picture, everything Quinn thought she knew about her best friend is called into question.
With dark secrets and revelations that will change everything coming to light, will Jesse and Quinn make it through with their life, friendship, and, most importantly, their hearts in tact?
My thoughts 💭
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading The Cleaner since characters from the book are mentioned. Jesse and Quinn were cute. Quinn has had a crush on her best friend Jesse but never made a move and Jesse finally noticed her as a woman at his ex’s wedding. It was an enjoyable read, I’m glad Jesse got his happy ending!

TITLE: Earning Her Trust (Braxton Arcade Book One)
AUTHOR: Adore Ian
RELEASE DATE: October 9th, 2018
BLURB:
She ran from her past… right into his arms.
Marrin Braxton is scarred—physically and emotionally. As a result, she separates her college life from her personal life and makes a point not to trust anyone. Especially guys.
So when she secretly starts sleeping with her hot neighbor, Damian Wane, she makes it clear it’s just sex. Good, kinky sex.
And boy, is it kinky. In the bedroom, Damian is everything Marrin needs. He’s dominant, bossy, and says the filthiest things. Damian makes her submit in ways she never thought possible, and when he’s in charge, she’s able to let go of her need for control and just be.
But it’s how Damian makes her feel outside the bedroom that threatens to tear down the walls Marrin has built around her life and her heart. It’s a loss of control she’s not sure she can handle, and when a man from her past shows up to terrorize her, it’s a loss of control she’s not sure she’ll survive.
Damian Wane is used to getting what he wants. He’s rich, handsome, and gifted with the kind of soulful eyes every person, pet, and vegetable dreams of getting lost in.
After his first night with Marrin, he’s hooked. She’s everything he needs in the bedroom. She’s eager, submissive, and wants him in ways no one ever has before. But it’s the ways he finds himself wanting her, the scars he wants to show her, that have him unable to keep things between them casual. He doesn’t want to let her go, and he’s not willing to share.
But Marrin’s keeping secrets and Damian doesn’t want to be one of them.
If he can earn her trust, he just might make Marrin his. But if he pushes too far, pries too deep, he might lose everything.

My thoughts 💭
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a good debut! The book is a page turner for sure. It was filled with hot🔥🔥🔥 scenes and drama and I absolutely enjoyed reading! Now I loved Damien but Marrin was kind of annoying. I really didn’t care for how she’d sometimes act toward Damien. Overall I thought the book was great and I’d definitely recommend!

Blurb
To avoid being left for dead in an icy wasteland, Astrid Castillo surrenders herself to the local werewolf pack and its alpha, who is as tantalizing as he is terrifying.
In a time when shifters are facing extinction, Erik is alpha to the largest wolf pack in the arctic. As harsh and unforgiving as the tundra, he is accustomed to wielding control over everything.
Astrid is no exception.
My thoughts 💭
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a good book but I felt like it just ended abruptly….what happens with the bears!?! Do the 2 packs keep living together? Guess I’ll be reading the next one😂. Erik was kind of a jerk but was likeable the more he came to the realization that Astrid was his mate. Astrid was ridiculously crazy but I just adored her! They made a cute couple. It was kind of odd that Astrid went to save a sister (that really wanted to be where she was) she wasn’t that close with but felt like she had to do it for their parents. I feel like her sister could’ve left a note or something so nobody would worry🤷🏾♀️ But other than that and the ending I thought it was a enjoyable read!
