Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | Apple Books | Eden Books

From USA Today bestselling author K Webster comes a forbidden, enemies to lovers romance called Campfire Chaos!

I had it all.
Popularity. Good grades. Cheerleading. Doting family and great friends.

Until the wrong boy swept into my perfect world and destroyed every part of it.
Abuse. Drugs. Humiliation.
He trampled all over my reputation and I was powerless to do anything about it.
I couldn’t break free from his controlling hold.
But the night of the accident changed everything.

Now I’m freed at last.
It comes at a cost, though. I hurt a Hoodlum.
I can’t fix him, but I can fix me.
Without the monster in my life, I grow stronger, fiercer, braver.

I’m on the right track to cleaning up the mess that is my life.
Repairing friendships.
Restoring trust with my family.
Healing from my recent, terrible past.

Everything was going to be okay.
Or so I thought.

Because I have a new problem.
Cal Hutton.
Town’s lawless, gorgeous bad boy. A Hood River Hoodlum. My new nemesis.
He wants me to pay for what I did to his best friend.

Cal thinks I’m weak and an unworthy adversary, someone he can toy with.
But I’ll never allow another man to have that power over me.

I have claws now.
I fight back.

This is a full-length high school enemies-to-lovers, forbidden, and new adult romance with high angst, suspense, and gutting emotion. Releasing as part of the 2019 Sinister Fairy Tales Collection!

The mafia never lets you go.

I thought I was safe, free, but I never expected to find myself locked in a cage.

I’m in his territory. His prison.

The beast.

A fate worse than death awaits me if I can’t get away, so when the opportunity of salvation presents itself I grab it, even if I’m unsure if I can trust the hand I’m holding.

The only way out is through, exposing secrets and spilling blood.

Things aren’t how they appear. Nobody is what they seem.

Not even me.

My thoughts 💭

This was an interesting read. Domenico and Ella/Ari were cute. He’s the beast and she’s the beauty. She doesn’t mind being in a cage as long as it’s with him. They complimented each other perfectly. They also had a lot of secrets and some stuff could’ve been avoided had they given each other all the facts instead of half. I liked the book.

Bestselling author Kenya Wright returns with a standalone multicultural forced proximity romance that’s a beautiful escape with a huge happy ending.

News of the coronavirus hit New York City, and LA-native Jade is stuck dog sitting in her best friend’s Brooklyn apartment. Her bestie Zora is on her honeymoon in the Maldives, but may now be stuck there too. The island has canceled all flights. Only God knows when Zora will return, and Jade can fly back to LA.

Then, Zora’s brother Kamal shows up with his bags and proclaims that he is temporarily moving in. Which is odd because he has his own luxury condo in Manhattan. Something clearly happened with him and his girlfriend.

As the global pandemic ravages the world, Kamal and Jade become corona roommates in Zora’s one-bedroom apartment. Each day brings unique challenges for the pair while they navigate the new normal. Although dealing with bumps in the road, they quickly figure out that as long as they have one another, they can handle anything. Plus, there’s many steamy ways to pass the time.

No cheating. Lots of sex and funny moments. Some drama. Plenty of erotic illustrations.

My thoughts 💭

I enjoyed this quarantine romance! It was amazing. I loved Jade and Kamal. They end up quarantining together and trying to resist the pull between them but once Kamal turns on the charm Jade didn’t stand a chance. I definitely recommend reading this!

Review: Credence by Penelope Douglas

Length: 485 pages

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From New York Times bestselling author, Penelope Douglas, comes a new standalone!

Three of them, one of her, and a remote cabin in the woods. Let the hot, winter nights ensue…

Tiernan de Haas doesn’t care about anything anymore. The only child of a film producer and his starlet wife, she’s grown up with wealth and privilege but not love or guidance. Shipped off to boarding schools from an early age, it was still impossible to escape the loneliness and carve out a life of her own. The shadow of her parents’ fame followed her everywhere.

And when they suddenly pass away, she knows she should be devastated. But has anything really changed? She’s always been alone, hasn’t she?

Jake Van der Berg, her father’s stepbrother and her only living relative, assumes guardianship of Tiernan who is still two months shy of eighteen. Sent to live with him and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, in the mountains of Colorado, Tiernan soon learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore.

As the three of them take her under their wing, teach her to work and survive in the remote woods far away from the rest of the world, she slowly finds her place among them.

And as a part of them.

She also realizes that lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching.

One of them has her.

The other one wants her.

But he…

He’s going to keep her.

*Credence is a full length, stand-alone romance suitable for readers 18+.

My thoughts 💭

This was a pretty good read with a bit of taboo. Tiernan, Jake, Kaleb and Noah are all a little messed up but they somehow helped each other get over whatever was holding them back and move forward with their lives. Like they woke each other up. I just felt weird that Jake and Noah knew Kaleb was in love with Tiernan but still hooked up with her. They had no communication between the 3 of them because Kaleb wasn’t that okay with sharing her where Jake and Noah didn’t seem to mind. This was an interesting read.

Synopsis

I am death. My face is the last thing my targets see before I snatch their souls from their bodies. I gain strength from their fear and pleasure from their screams. Just hearing my name will make a mother fucker think twice about crossing me. In my line of business there is no weakness and there’s definitely no room for love. At least that’s what I used to think until her little feisty ass came back into my life. She came in like a wrecking ball and bringing all kinds of havoc with her. Now someone has the audacity to think they can take her from me. Fuck no. Her mind, body and soul belong to me. I am the Snatcher of Souls and I will snatch life from anyone who tries get in between me and my queen even if that means burying the man who made me.

This is not a Paranormal!

My thoughts 💭

This was an okay read for me. Axl is taken to cover his father’s debts and turned into the soul snatcher leaving behind his family and Monica. When he finally gets some slack from the boss he gets his family back but not his girl. A hit comes in but it’s for his girl and he hides her and makes plans to keep her safe. I would’ve liked more conversation or interactions between Axl and Monica.

Book two in the So Far, So Good series

A torturously tempting love story.

Jessica “Jessie” Allen is sugary sweet and perpetually perky. Running on an endless supply of enthusiasm, she’s in constant motion. The people pleaser is running herself ragged to make other people happy, anything to avoid having to figure out what would make her happy.

Devin Bennett is her complete opposite, the immovable object to Jessie’s unstoppable force. Jessie is drawn to him like a valley girl to an outlet mall, but Devin dodges her advances better than a UFC fighter. The tall, dark, tattooed and brooding mechanic hates change and the perky blond co-ed shoving it down his throat. The longer she’s around, the harder it is to keep his hands off her perfect body and his lips away from her sassy mouth.

For the first time in her life Jessie knows what she wants. Devin Bennet. And she’s not above torturing him with temptation to make it happen.

About Amelia Kingston

Amelia Kingston is many things, the most interesting of which are: California girl, writer, traveler, and dog mom. She survives on chocolate, coffee, wine, and sarcasm. Not necessarily in that order.

She’s been blessed with a patient husband who’s embraced her nomad ways and traveled with her to over 30 countries across 5 continents (I’m coming for you next, Antarctica!). She’s also been cursed with an impatient (although admittedly adorable) terrier who pouts when her dinner is 5 minutes late.

She writes about strong, stubborn, flawed women and the men who can’t help but love them. Her irreverent books aim to be silly and fun with the occasional storm cloud to remind us to appreciate the sunny days. As a hopeless romantic, her favorite stories are the ones that remind us all that while love is rarely perfect, it’s always worth chasing.

*18+ Reverse Harem Romance. Warning this book contains scenes and references of abuse/assault that some readers may find triggering. Along with graphic sex scenes and violence. This is a dark book*

My thoughts 💭

OMG this book was amazing! I was hooked from beginning to end! Dawn is still bada** but learns she can lean on her mates when needed. Her mates are amazing and I loved how they love and care for her and always have her back! This book was wonderfully written with action, secrets and steam! I can’t wait to read the next one!
