Synopsis

Scar:

I’m known as the Prince with the scar.

The bad boy royal.

You know, the one serving life for murder.

Until my parents, the King and Queen of Genvora, are killed.

And now they have no choice but to set me free.

I’m the devil who’s about to become King.

But before I take the throne, I have some business to attend to.

And I feel like taking my hot PR manager along for the ride.

Although— there’s something not quite right about her.

She doesn’t flinch when I kidnap her.

She doesn’t blink when my bullet skims her cheek.

No, I don’t trust her at all.

And I’m obsessed with finding out why.

Warning:

You might not want to fall in love with Scar, but he won’t give you a choice.

The Devil Who Would Be King is a (very, very) dark interracial romance. First in the series. Be prepared for a jaw-dropping cliffhanger!

My Thoughts 💭

This was a good read. Angel is trying to show her family she’s one of them and ready for more serious work. It kind of backfires when Scar is totally aware of her plans and they are falling for each other. They had some good chemistry. I enjoyed the book and wouldn’t mind reading what comes next for Angel and Scar.
