Synopsis

I was an ordinary girl, living an ordinary life, until I sold my soul to save my mother. Now, I am trapped between two worlds. Between the vampire demons who own my contract, and the Fae whose bloodline flows in me. Between the prince I’m falling in love with, and the race his kind has enslaved.

My Thoughts 💭

While I did enjoy the little bit of action in this book I started skimming over some parts. It felt like it kind of dragged I guess. I wasn’t really interested in Kayla and Tavian. They went from enemies to lovers fairly quickly. I was more interested in Fen and Ari if they’d get a little closer or anything. The cliffhanger was interesting and hopefully the story picks back up in the next one. 3.5 stars ⭐️
