SYNOPSIS

After nearly four years with Jeff, everything fell apart. For the first time in my adult life, I found myself single, scared, but liberated as well. 2019 Debut Author, Bailie Hantam, hails from sunny South Africa. She has been writing stories from as early as she can remember. After finally deciding to take it seriously five years ago she finally hit publish in March this year. She writes both Contemporary and Paranormal Romance and will be venturing into the world of Romantic Suspense in 2020.

My Thoughts 💭

This book is pretty interesting but the cliffhanger has me feeling kind of meh since Eve is powerful but was easily subdued. Other than that I thought the book was well written and interesting! I enjoyed how she interacts with her men….and Bast not sure if he’s one of the men but he’s a ancient Egyptian god so…. lol

My Thoughts 💭

This book was just as captivating as the first! We finally learn more about what Maddie really is. Every time you think things are going back to normal something else crazy happens. Asher will protect his mate no matter what. Maddie is no pushover and will not tolerate being treated poorly or pushed away. I’m absolutely loving this series and I can’t wait to read what’s next for them. The other characters are so loveable as well! I can’t wait for year of the aqua hair!

Review: Supernatural Academy: Year One by Jaymin Eve

Until the moment the truth is revealed, and they find out nothing in this supernatural world is what they thought.

Including each other.

Supernatural Academy is 105k words, full length urban fantasy story. Recommended 17+ due to language and sex scenes.

My Thoughts 💭

This book has me hooked! Maddie discovers supernaturals exist and she’s one of them then she’s taken to an academy where she’ll learn about her powers and how to function in the normal world. I love Maddie and Asher! Their chemistry is crazy and I enjoyed ever moment of it! Maddie was badaxx and fit right in to the supernatural world for a newbie.

My Thoughts 💭

I really liked this book but I felt it started of kind of slow. Sarah has no knowledge of who she really is. She’s just lost her mother and is sort of guided to attend a magical history school that isn’t what it seems. By the time the action starts its over before you know it lol! It’s a slow burn romance so not much happens between Sarah and her bullies. I’m definitely interested in reading the next book.

My Thoughts 💭

This was a little dark & hot sci-fi read. Cara is rescued and then punished by Bane. Bane takes Cara home and tells her she’ll be working for him since she wants to work. They have some good chemistry. The book kept me interested from beginning to end.
