This wonderfully written book gave me all the feels! I have to warn you that you’ll cry but it will get better! I just loved Rhys and Henley! So far they’re my favorite couple in the series! The twists and drama in this book definitely kept me reading to find out what’s going to happen next! Overall, I thought the book was definitely hot and sweet and I absolutely recommend this series!

This was just an okay read for me. I didn’t feel like it was a dark romance…I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it either. I didn’t like how Ryker is “The Emperor” but didn’t check out his assistant’s background or anything…The whole Astor situation made no sense to me. She sent notes about harming Ginger but didn’t really want to hurt her and her excuse was that her obsession got the better of her….She’s been sending threatening notes and that’s all she had to say? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Ryker and Ginger has some good steamy scenes but overall this one just wasn’t for me. I really liked the cover.

This was a well written mafia romance! I can’t wait for the next book to find out if Andino and Haven find a way to be together! I did feel like Andino was being a little selfish by not letting Haven know the situation before hand. I loved independent and sassy Haven! I loved Andino and Haven’s s*xy chemistry and I definitely can’t wait to read what’s next for them!

My thoughts 💭

This was a good debut! The book is a page turner for sure. It was filled with hot🔥🔥🔥 scenes and drama and I absolutely enjoyed reading! Now I loved Damien but Marrin was kind of annoying. I really didn’t care for how she’d sometimes act toward Damien. Overall I thought the book was great and I’d definitely recommend!

She was just that sweet mom you could talk to and depend on. Smiley comes in and slays all her demons and shows her how awesome she is. Smiley just wanted to see his Ade smile and make her happy. They had great chemistry, I just loved everything about them! I can’t wait to read the kids stories!

I just love Lani Lynn Vale books so much! This book did not disappoint! There’s the we’re meant to be romance and MC drama what’s not to love?!?! Conleigh and Lincoln have always known they were meant to be but had to put their relationship on hold just before they got serious. When Linc finally decides he’s no longer waiting and its time to be together Conleigh is kind of reluctant but Linc wasn’t letting her go. They were so adorable! Conleigh was cute but she was naive and little stubborn. Lincoln was a sweetheart but a butthead for letting their dads keep them apart for that long. I was so glad when he just decided their time is now! I definitely recommend reading this book! I can’t wait to read the next one!
