**Medium Burn Reverse Harem NA Paranormal Romance**
You think you’re having a bad day? Jaz Neck is suddenly being stalked by ghosts.

She thought things were bad when she lost her magic and was ostracized by her so-called friends. As it turns out, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

After struggling to reclaim her magic, she makes herself even more of a freak by becoming the only necromancer in existence. Nothing like giving the bullies at Highborn Academy a fresh supply of ammunition to harass her with…

The only upside to her spiraling social status is the shocking revelation that she’s been linked with three soulmates: a ghost, a lycan, and a warlock. But will their combined strength be enough to protect her from the dark forces rising?

My thoughts 💭

This was an interesting read. Jaz was funny I like her. Alec, Pierce and Gilbert were sweet and their chemistry with Jaz was hot! I enjoyed their banter! I enjoyed this and can’t wait to read the next book!

Synopsis

Noir Rose, a horror and thriller author, always believed that the fictional monsters that she wrote about were just that – fictional. The true horror of the hideous beasts resided only within the gruesome tales she wrote. She never dreamed that reality could be just as cold and cruel as the monsters writhing inside her mind.

With the mysterious arrival of a personal invitation to a masquerade ball, Noir’s life takes a page out of one of her stories.

The Crows have come home.

Men cloaked in secrets and hidden behind white masks, earning them their chilling nickname the Faceless.

Noir should’ve ran while she had the chance, but the Faceless have set their sights on her. Now that they’ve found her, they’ll never let her go. They’ve waited an eternity for her, intent on using her to save themselves from the dark fate of their cursed immortal lives.

Can Noir find a way to stop her fate being tied to their own? Or will she succumb to their dark desires and break through their black hearts, lifting the curse forever? One thing’s for sure, she won’t come out of this the same person.

Because sometimes there’s beauty in the beasts within.

**This is a Dark REVERSE HAREM Stand-alone with explicit scenes, light BDSM, violence, and possible triggers**

My thoughts 💭

This was an enjoyable read with a dark beauty and the beasts vibe. I liked all the characters. I definitely recommend!

Synopsis

Freed from her neurological condition and the suffocating attention of her parents, Kira is a whole new woman, literally. And now she’s on tour with her favourite band, travelling across foreign countries and recording what she sees with the gorgeous Marlow by her side. So, it all should be smooth sailing, right?

Instead she’s thrust into a complex political world where everything is about power and a misstep could be your last. Kira’s no closer to discovering what the mysterious Aen is, or why he’s so interested in her. The tawny Johnno brings with him his own baggage: his band, with every single one of them focussed on one thing: her. She’s gone from fragile human to resilient, somehow powerful fae, but why does everyone want a bite?

So, who does she let close?

Join Kira as she navigates this brand new world and in the process of discovering the fae world and how it works, discovers a whole lot more than she bargained for about herself.

This is book two in a brand new steamy reverse harem series from the author of the Pack Heat series. If you love hot, why choose romance with sexy fae men and a bit of MM, you’ll love Riding for a Fall.

My thoughts 💭

Well I wasn’t expecting that kind of cliffhanger. I’m definitely feeling some type of way but I’m still interested in Kira’s journey…at this point I only love Aen and he better help her wreck stuff because I just can’t with the other guys. Off with their heads! 😩

Synopsis

They’ve haunted my dreams, now they’re coming for me.

I’ve lived in Gisbourne my whole life, feeling like nothing other than a set of symptoms to my family, my town.

Until now

Asked to photograph the outright debauchery of Avalon Records latest launch, I look and I look and I look until finally I see it.

My parents gave me a camera when I was a kid to help me see the truth: there’s no such thing as the fae.

What if they were wrong?

Seriously, what else could these beautiful people be?

My favourite band, the Changelings: a group of bad boys who shine in my lens, so brightly they threaten to burn me up. Why are they taking an unholy interest in me. Hunting me down, luring me closer, using every damn means they have to box me in, tie me down. And for what?

I’m about to step beyond the lens, become something else altogether and I’m not sure any of us are ready for it.

Author note: This is a reverse harem, paranormal, enemies to lovers kind of romance with multiple love interests. 18+ only for steamy goodness.

My thoughts 💭

This was an interesting read. I’m definitely interested in reading more. I liked Kira. Kira finds out she isn’t human after all then falls down the rabbit hole that is the Fae and since she is more powerful than anyone had thought there’s folks out to get her for her power. I have mixed feelings about her bff Jen. I liked this book.

Synopsis

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel—The Vipers.

They run this town and everyone in it. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses.

Yes, sold me.

They own me now.

I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant. These men, they look at me with longing. Their scarred, blood-stained hands holding me tight. They want everything I am, everything I have to give, and won’t stop until they get just that. They can own my body, but they will never have my heart.

The Vipers? I’m going to make them regret the day they took me.

This girl? She bites too.

*18+ Reverse Harem Romance. Warning this book contains scenes and references of abuse/assault that some readers may find triggering. Along with graphic sex scenes and violence. This is a dark book*

My Thoughts 💭

This book was amazing! Their relationship starts off as a business deal but the more the guys got to know Roxy they realized she’s under their skin and they’ll never let her go. Roxy was a crazy and strong female and she had to be to take on the vipers! The guys are mean, cold and cruel but they loved her and she definitely loved them. This book was a page turner! I was hooked from beginning to end!

Havenfall Harbor

Bridging the gap between supernaturals and humans is my only goal, or so I thought. Keeping myself alive and out of trouble is proving harder than expected.

Getting a job as the first human liaison at Havenfall was a dream come true, until I realize it’s not just humans that don’t want the species mixing.

Someone doesn’t want me a here, and they aren’t making it a secret that they will do just about anything to make sure I don’t stick around.

Seems like I have a few things to teach them about underestimating my determination.

Welcome to Havenfall where not just the students bite.

My thoughts 💭

Quinn is just trying to do her job and someone who doesn’t like humans or want them around starts to target her. Griffin and Evan want to protect her and ease her into the idea of being their mate. Review: Newly Undead In Dark River by Grace McGinty

Length: 257 pages

Published: September 13, 2019

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Source: Kindle Unlimited

Synopsis

Welcome to Dark River. Population 0.

When Mika McKellen woke up in a stormwater drain while backpacking around Canada, she knew that her mother was right. If you made bad choices, you would end up dead in a ditch. But when she stumbled into Dark River, even her mother could never have dreamed up the residents of this small town in the middle of nowhere, Alberta.

Oh, it had all the usual suspects. Quirky diner owners, untrustworthy outcasts and a Sheriff so hot he’d make any red-blooded woman with a heartbeat beg to be in cuffs in the back of his patrol vehicle. No, the really unusual thing about Dark River was that it was entirely populated by the Undead. Vampires to be specific. And so was Mika.

As Mika adjusts to the life of a Vampire, a dark presence stalks her from the shadows. One of the residents of Dark River was her maker and her murderer.

And they were determined to ensure that Mika never rested in peace.

My thoughts 💭

Mika/Raine is turned into a vampire against her will and no memory of what happened. The vampire town welcomes her and helps her settle while the hot sheriff tries to find her maker. As Raine adjusts to vampire life she attracts a few males who calls themselves her harem. This book had me hooked from beginning to end with the secrets, lies, betrayal and steam!

Review: Midnight Fae Academy by Lexi C. Foss

Length: 337 pages

Published: June 2, 2020

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Source: Kindle Unlimited

Synopsis

I’m in purgatory.

Hell.

A Midnight Fae dungeon.

All because my mates betrayed me.

Shade swears he’s innocent.

Zeph promises that what he did was for my own best interest.

Meanwhile, Kols isn’t apologetic in the slightest, his cocky arrogance claiming fate intervened at just the right moment.

I hate them all.

Crave them, too.

And now I have to work with them to solve a millennia-old secret, one that involves my true heritage.

Except our digging has awoken an ancient power and it’s threatening to destroy the Midnight Fae realm with its vengeance.

If only the Academy offered courses in mediation.

I could use one of those right about now.

Because as it turns out, I’m the only one with the power to stop this thing from taking over.

And I have to rely on my mates to help guide me.

Welcome to Midnight Fae Academy, where the classes are useless and the male fae are all jackholes. Wish me luck.

Author’s Note: This is a dark paranormal why choose trilogy with bully romance (enemies-to-lovers) elements. Despite Aflora’s opinions on the matter, there will definitely be biting. Shadow, a. k. a. Shade, guarantees it. This book ends on a cliffhanger.

My thoughts 💭

I enjoyed this book! The secrets and bonding had me hooked! Aflora felt betrayed until things were explained and then she started to get closer to and bond with her guys. There’s a war coming and Shade is making moves that pisses everyone off even though you know he’s doing it all for Aflora’s benefit. Zeph starts feeling like he’s getting the hang of being a mate and Kols is jealous since he has other duties that currently won’t allow him to complete the bond with Aflora. I can’t wait to read what’s next!
